Getting nationally-recognised awards in skills like leadership and teamwork can give them the opportunity they need to get ahead. We provide these vital opportunities.
Our successful leadership programme provides training for aspiring and experienced young leaders at a level right for them. We support and deliver a range of courses helping young people to gain qualifications, improve confidence and develop the competitive edge they need for other areas of their lives.

National Citizen Service (NCS) is a new government programme 16- and 17-year-olds can take part in. For three weeks full-time and beyond, they can take part in outdoor challenges, like rafting or trekking, learn how to live independently, and design a project to make their local area better. NCS trains young people in essential skills.
We are part of a consortium, led by charity Catch22, helping to run the project on the government's behalf. As part of the consortium, we've helped support more than 1,500 young people complete their NCS.

From October 2012 we've been pioneering a new scheme called Lions Quest Skills for Adolescence in the UK.
The scheme has proved successful in the United States and we've been given nearly £1 million in funding to roll out the programme across the UK for the next five years in youth clubs nationwide.
